D. Wesley Moore, II, MAI, CCIMD. Wesley Moore, II, MAI, CCIM, is a commercial real estate appraiser, market analyst, broker, consultant and instructor with over 30 years of real estate appraisal and brokerage experience. He is a partner in the appraisal firm of Cook, Moore, Davenport & Associates. Mr. Moore has a Masters Degree in Finance with a Concentration in Real Estate, a BS in Finance and a BS in Construction, all from Louisiana State University. He holds the MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute, the CCIM designation with the CCIM Institute, is a licensed real estate broker, a REALTOR, a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Louisiana and Mississippi, and is an Adjunct Instructor of Real Estate with the Department of Finance at LSU. He taught the Real Estate Valuation and Investment class (Finance 3352) at LSU from 2006 to 2018.

He was 2005 President of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors, 2003-05 member of the Board of Managers for the Louisiana Commercial Database (LACDB), 2006 Chair of the Trends in Real Estate seminar, and is a recurring speaker in the Trends in Real Estate seminar series. He was the 2006 CID Member of the Year, and in 2007 was one of 27 recipients nationally of the CCIM Excellence award.

Mr. Moore has been interviewed by CNN and the local CBS and ABC affiliates, and has been quoted in numerous publications, including the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Apartment Finance Today, Los Angeles Times, the Times Picayune, the Baton Rouge Business Report and The Advocate.

Mr. Moore has overseen the Louisiana State University Real Estate Research Institute’s apartment market survey for Baton Rouge since 1989. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, he has two children. His hobbies include martial arts, scuba diving, and LSU sports. He holds a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a purple belt in Brazilian-Style Jujitsu and a brown belt in Weeping-Style Jujitsu.
